Professional Registration Policy

In order to best serve and protect patients and the public, all staff where relevant (appendix 1) must be registered with a professional body. If a member of staff's registration lapses they will not contractually, and in many cases legally, be able to continue to carry out the duties of their post if their post requires them to be registered.

This Policy applies to all staff employed by South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust who require a valid professional registration to fulfil their job roles.
