South Staffordshire & Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust expects the highest standards of conduct from its employees to ensure that public confidence is maintained in its employees and the Trust overall.
This Policy sets out the Trust’s approach to all aspects of Trust business which fall within the remit of the Bribery Act 2010 including to:
Prohibit bribery in any form whether direct or indirect.
Commit to implementing systems to counter bribery.
It also covers the approach to be taken to all offers of hospitality, sponsorship and gifts, providing clear guidelines. It reflects the Trust’s core values – including specifically that of being open and honest – and aims to ensure that the conduct of staff is scrupulously impartial, honest and beyond reproach at all times.
