South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust works in partnership with Keele, Wolverhampton and Staffordshire Universities to train and equip our future nurses. We also work with these organisations to offer courses to existing staff who want to develop their skills.
We have a thriving apprenticeship programme and are one of the first NHS trusts to establish an Assistant Practitioner scheme.
We offer a Management Essentials programme, validated at level 5 by the Chartered Management Institute and have invested in the capacity to develop individuals with 14 newly qualified coaches now in place.
Our 3500 staff serve a local population of 1.1 million in Shropshire and South Staffordshire, and within a range of services based from Leeds to the Isle of Wight and Liverpool to Cambridge.
