Help in a Crisis

If you, a family member or friend are experiencing mental health problems and need help in a crisis, please choose from the following options:

 

If you believe that you or the person you are enquiring about is suffering a genuine life-threatening emergency, you should call 999 or go to your nearest Accident and Emergency department.

For information, advice and guidance in relation to adult mental health issues call one of our Access teams 24/7/365 on:

0300 124 0365 (covering the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin areas)

0300 555 5001 (covering Mid and South Staffordshire)

 

If you’re already receiving care from one of our mental health teams and it is within normal working hours (usually Monday-Friday, 9-5) then call the team on the number they’ve given you.

If you’re not sure who to contact or you can’t remember their contact details please call one of our Access teams 24/7/365 on:

0300 555 5001 (covering Mid and South Staffordshire)

South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS) provide information, support and guidance to all patients, carers and their families and help empower service users by giving them an understanding of the health service.
